In the room the crown was located within its display case, one pair of blue eyes shown in the dark environment. “I hope Sweetie doesn’t try anything funny tonight.” “Well, here we go again,” Chase smiled, sitting down in front of the crown’s display case. “Goodnight, Earl,” Chase said, as he walked off into the hall. “Thank you for offering to watch the crown again.” “Ah, Chase.” The Earl of Barkingburg greeted him warmly. When he was only a foot off the ground, Chase turned off his jets and landed perfectly on the ground. “Let’s see if I can stick the landing through the castle’s window this time,” Chase said.Ĭhase steered his glider towards the window as it opened.Ĭhase flew inside and slowly turned off his jets as he neared the castle’s main floor. Good luck.”Ĭhase ran into the back of the Air Patroller, he got into his jetpack and flew out of the Air Patroller’s open door.Ĭhase’s jetpack deployed his glider and jets and he flew towards the castle. The sun was just about to go down and a few stars began to appear in the blackening sky. The Air Patroller (now in Stealth Mode) arrived at Barkingburg. With that, Will instantly fell back to sleep. “I wonder what it would be like to guard the crown of Barkingburg. Will laid back down on his pup bed and snuggled up against his plushie, Teddy. OH! He must be going to Barkingburg to guard the crown! I just hope Sweetie doesn’t try to frame him again for stealing it.” “I guess Chase was assigned to do a solo mission or something. “The other pups are still here, but Chase isn’t.” Will thought to himself. The other pups were with him sleeping, except Chase, whose pup bed was empty…….well except for Officer Bear. Will looked around the Lookout’s bottom floor. “Wait, are the pups and Ryder leaving without me!?” Will gasped in shock. Will walked up to the sliding glass door to find the Air Patroller on the Lookout’s lawn, then take off into the early morning sky. He heard the Air Patroller’s engine and wondered what was making that noise. Soon, Robo-Dog came in the Air Patroller and landed beside the Lookout.Ĭhase and Ryder left the Lookout and into the freezing winter morning, boarded the Air Patroller with the door closing behind them.Īt that moment, Will stirred and woke up. “Oh, sorry Ryder.” Chase apologized quietly. “Good, but let’s keep it down so we don’t wake the other pups,” Ryder said in a hushed tone. “I’m ready, Ryder!” Chase said with determination. Just then, Ryder came out of the Lookout’s elevator, all dressed in his usual outfit. I have to be ready to be on duty to guard Barkingburg’s crown at the castle.”Ĭhase turned off Officer Bear’s lullaby and placed him on top of his pup bed. “Officer Bear,” Chase replied to his plushie.

I’ll meet you outside.”Ĭhase stretched and walked off his bed, only to trip over Officer Bear and fall flat on his tummy. “I’ll call Robo-Dog to bring in the Air Patroller.

“That’s okay, Ryder,” Chase said before letting out a big yawn. “We’ll need to leave right now,” Ryder replied. “Sorry to wake you up so early, but the Earl of Barkingburg would like you to come to the castle and keep watch over the crown.” Officer Bear’s lullaby softly filled the air. On the ground floor of the Lookout, Chase was snoring quietly along with the other pups. Ryder clicked on Chase’s Pup Tag badge on his Pup Pad and called him. “You’re welcome, Earl,” Ryder said, before hanging up. “I’ll drop him off at Barkingburg as soon as I can.” “I’m sure he’d love to watch the crown,” Ryder replied happily. “Could Chase come to Barkingburg and watch over the crown tonight?” the Earl asked. “You’re fine, Earl,” Ryder assured the Earl as he rubbed his eyes. “Oh, I apologize if I disturbed your sleep.”

“Ah, Ryder.” The Earl of Barkingburg replied. Ryder sat up, took the Pup Pad, and answered it. It was lit up with the Paw Patrol’s paw logo and ringing. He looked to his Pup Pad on his bedside table. On the bedside table in his room, Ryder’s Pup Pad rang. The sun hadn’t risen yet, but there was a slight sliver of light on the horizon, meaning the sun would be rising soon.Īt the Lookout, all the pups and Ryder were still sound asleep. It was an early winter morning in Adventure Bay, around five in the morning to be precise.
